Our marriage journey started in 2000 when a mutual friend introduced us. Michael arrived in Iran in 1999 from England with a desire to help refugees and was working as an administrator for a small charity in Tehran. Rozita worked in the local Church. We started a journey exploring our cultures and ourselves that led us to getting married in September 2022. Since then we have had many adventures together as we have learnt to live and love together despite our cultural differences.

We faced challenges getting married to start with as our marriage registration was far from straightforward. Then we unexpectedly had to change countries.  Over the years we have gone through different life experiences financially, healthwise and mentally that has brought us even closer together. Throughout it all we have seen God’s faithfulness and provision in our relationship. We have a passion for God’s purpose for marriage and seeing other couples thrive and fulfil their destiny.

Fast forward to 2024, we wanted to explore how we could help other Christian couples who have fallen in love across cultures. We came across the Breakthrough Marriage coach training and qualified as marriage coaches. This is our website where we share thoughts in our blog on cross cultural marriage.
